Who is it for

The course is aimed at all professionals who want to develop modern and effective methods for facilitating collaboration between generations in the work environment.

Benefits

Following the three steps proposed by the Intergenerational Collaboration Initiative offers HR professionals strategic advantages such as:

  • Specific understanding of the generations in their own organisations. Prior to starting the learning experiences all teams complete a prework questionnaire that helps us see the perceptions about generations from the inside.
  • Greater chances of preventing the rise of turnover rates for younger generations of employees.
  • The opportunity to build adapted learning experiences for a better generational approach directly impacting employee well-being.
  • Increased ability to enable the efficient use of the complementary skills of each generation.

Thematic

First stage – Understanding Multigenerational Workforce

  • Integrative Map. The vastness of the generational landscape. Tools for understanding the way researchers define generations. Diachronic structures and explanations.
  • Time and space. The Quantum Generations. In a different infrastructure, people express differently, their needs are not the same and the way we define intelligence is different.

Second stage – Unlocking Intergenerational Collaboration

  • Communication Essentials. Recognition of Otherness. Learn effective communication strategies tailored to the preferences and communication styles of each generation, reducing misunderstandings and enhancing collaboration.
  • Values bring value. Living in a moral ecology. Exploring values, perceptions and behaviors. Why values, ethics and morality matter most when trying to make multiple generations prosperously work together?
  • Age versus generation. Belongingness. A very important step during the process of learning about psychological characteristics of human nurture.
  • Human Development. Growth and its obstacles. Understanding some of the most important theories in developmental psychology, life stages and conscience research.
  • Social Justice. Living inside the history. Defining WEIRD, woke and globalised. Generations and political correctness.

Third stage – Unleashing Generational Diversity

  • Neuroscience and generations. Wired to love. Different habits, different abilities, different brains. Same humaneness.
  • Psychometric Tools. The obsession of measurability. Using the science of personality for understanding cohorts and variation.
  • Us versus them in human interactions. The danger of dehumanisation. What makes us love or hate each other?
  • Building Togetherness through Moral Intelligence Bridging the gap. Mitigating unconscious bised perceptions.
  • Learning Mindset. Manifesting Moral Ambition. Managing the members of Gen Z from a mentor perspective
